
Let’s be honest, things can get a little messy.
At Hayashi Teppanyaki, “Teppan” means iron hotplate, and “Yaki” means cooking over direct heat. That’s exactly what we’ve been doing for the past 30 years!
The Menu
Each guest starts by selecting one of our banquet options. We recommend the Matsu banquet, which includes an entrée, miso soup, and a variety of mains, all cooked before your eyes by our skilled chefs. We also offer seafood-only and vegetarian banquets. If you’re feeling hungrier, you can add extra teppanyaki dishes like ginger beef, teriyaki chicken, scallops, fish, and prawns.
Don’t miss our signature dessert – Deep-Fried Ice Cream, a perfect mix of crispy crumb and creamy vanilla. We’re fully licensed and offer a range of drinks, including beer, wine, spirits, and cocktails, plus low- and no-alcohol options for designated drivers.

We wait for all guests to arrive before starting the cooking, so everyone enjoys the food at its best – hot and fresh! Watch our chefs turn fresh ingredients into delicious dishes while you relax, sip your drink, and chat with friends. Each course is served with the best dipping sauce.
When the main meal is over, the fun begins! From tossing eggs to catching food with your mouth, it's a chance to let loose and laugh. Don’t worry if you don’t feel like joining in – watching is just as entertaining! We recommend not wearing your finest clothes, but we’ve got you covered with “protective gear.”
End the night with something sweet. If you’re celebrating, feel free to bring a cake! We will put on some loud music and the whole shop loves joining in! The whole dining experience goes for approximately 90 minutes.
